I’m sitting here having my first cup of coffee and reading my e-mails…I receive a phone call from a 100% disabled Iraq Veteran from here in Minnesota.
He tells me that yesterday he found one of our “Thank you cards” on his car in Apple Valley, Minnesota. This is the first time he has been THANKED! He just wanted to call to thank “us” for doing this. I say “us” because it is all of you who make this work.
I’m sitting here with watery eyes thinking he called to thank us when we owe him and his family so much!
God Bless

I just received this e-mail that I’m sure is from this Hero:
Thank you. I was in the military for 15 years before I retired due to injuries in Iraq. I was sent back with no fanfare or even a sign because I was sent back stateside alone. Everyday I regret not being able to stay in longer. My little peice of pride is the Iraq license plate I have. I am also a veteran of Somalia, Liberia, Haiti, Iraq (1996, desert fox) and Yugoslavia. Some one placed a thank you card on my car and I cried. No one has ever said thank you or did I expect them to as I do not discuss it often. So thank you for making this veteran feel pride once again.Just another soldier
Thank you so much for the cards! Donation to follow! So many stories I’ve heard when I present these! I may have to start carrying around a tape recorder!

This is awesome. I am a disabled Navy Chief. I was handed a card and it made my day. God bless you always.

May God bless all our valiant troops
Wherever they may roam,
And bless us too, their families,
Waiting anxiously at home….
Hi Richard, It is nice to see that you are still doing the cards, our BSM group has almost run out and we need more for our packing and the Golden Corral free dinner night that is coming up soon. I am President of our group now so I will make sure that a donation is sent your way after our next meeting in October. I hope all is going well with you and your family. My son is in Afghanistan for the second time in three years and he also has a six month old son who was just two weeks old when he left. First time grandma here and I am loving it

Thanks again for all you do Richard and a big thank you to all who help you..<hugs>

Thank you so much for these lovely cards…I was given one yesterday from a veteran who asked me to give it to my son who will be leaving again next March headed to Afghanistan (this will be his 4th tour during this war)…I’m so proud of all the men and women who serve and am so grateful for your beautiful cards…sometimes it’s hard to say thank you but this way I can hand them a card to let them know…Thank you again.

Hello, A friend of mine gave me one of these great cards to give to the next service person I saw. When I did I knew it made that solders day. What a great way to say thank you! I would love to have them to hand out. Thank you for saying what every American should be saying to our troops.
